How to become a member
It is very simple: Fill in our application form, sign it and send it back to us by email. You will find more information about the benefits of membership and the procedure for becoming a member in the application form.
All new members will receive a Welcome Pack comprising our latest major research project, all ECMI short papers and all relevant information about our activities.
Why to become a member
There are many reasons why becoming a member of ECMI is a good idea; by becoming a member you will:
- Receive invitations to closed meetings reserved to members only, as well as to seminars and workshops.
- Have access to the statistical package available online.
- Obtain a complimentary copy of each study, carried out in co-operation with the leading universities and business schools in Europe and published under the scope of ECMI. Additional copies are available at a discount rate.
- Participate in our Task Forces at a discounted rate.
- Receive a quarterly newsletter informing ECMI's membership on our activities.
- Be able to attend the Annual General Assembly, where relevant market issues will be dealt with by noted speakers.
- Support the activities of an institute which is attempting to enhance the efficiency, growth and better regulation of European capital markets.
- Become part of a think-tank that helps to bridge the gap between market participants, regulators and academics.
How much does it cost to become a member
Ordinary membership is open to institutions, associations and corporations in the financial sector and industry as well as universities and business schools. There are three different types of membership options at ECMI. The yearly membership fees for each of them are:
- Founding Members EUR 5,000
- Corporate Member EUR 3,000
- Academic Institution EUR 500
As soon as ECMI's Membership Committee has accepted your application you will be invoiced the annual fee. You will then be invoiced annually on the day you first became member. Please make sure the billing information is complete. Notice of cancellation should be given at least 3 months prior to the issuance of the next membership bill.
